Ginger Pig Wanstead opened in July 2016 following the closure of a previous butcher’s shop, which had been the local for 90 years. It was important to us to preserve a piece of this impressive history, whilst also breathing new life into the store and making it part of our family. It is the first of our shops to have a bespoke window display fridge, especially built to showcase large hanging joints and dry-aged ribs of beef. There is also a small deli counter and hot takeaway lunches daily.
