An extra-large chicken suitable for feeding 6-8 hungry people. While our classic Botterill’s chickens are reared to 100 days, these stunning cockerels are grown on for an additional month, giving them their mighty size and particularly rich flavour.

The cockerels are dry-plucked and game-hung for one week to tenderise the meat and further intensify the taste. Best suited to slighter slower roasting, with a glass of wine or stock thrown in for good measure.
