A great present when paired with a butchery class for those wanting to improve their knife skills, or simply on their own for enthusiastic home cooks.

Experiential gifts:

Butchery Classes – The original knife skills class; students receive a hands-on 3.5 hour lesson including a two-course meal with wine and their handiwork – joint or sausages – to take home. We offer pork, beef, lamb, game, poultry and sausage classes. A great evening for those wanting to know more about their meat. Butchery Class vouchers are available to purchase online, priced at £155 per person.

Books – The original tome The Meat Book gives a good grounding in meat, a tour of all the cuts and what to look and ask for when buying produce, all set within a year on Grange Farm. The Farmhouse Cook Book takes a more holistic look at rural life, and is ideal for anyone wanting to grab a slice of the good life at home. It contains several curing projects as well as plenty of bottling and chutney making.
